Bloemfortein offers some of the best wing shooting in South Africa across 1 million hectares of carefully managed ground.
Roxtons are delighted to team up with the Coetzer family who have been arranging the very best wild bird hunting in South Africa for over 30 years. This is a multi-generational family run business operating close to Bloemfontein. The family carefully manage nearly one million hectares of ground to offer clients the very best chance of top-class sport!
The season is from March to end of September, with the prime time for rock pigeons being April, May and June. Mixed game packages start from 15th May where the team can put on fabulous mixed sporting days, with morning duck and good flights, walk up Guinea fowl over pointers and afternoon dove and pigeon flights.
These are action packed trips with some of the best wing shooting South Africa has to offer.
All teams stay in the fully catered lodge as guests of the family. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, with plentiful traditional home cooking and a great honesty bar to enjoy the evenings with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
