MPs unanimously decide to take no further action against grouse shooting

by Roxtons

We are delighted to hear that MPs voted unanimously to take no further action after the debate in parliament following a petition to ban driven grouse shooting reached 123,077 signatures. Common sense has prevailed yet despite this small victory, Mark Avery warns that our sport is a ‘doomed hobby’, and says that this ‘is not the end, but it’s a long way from the beginning.’

Mark goes on to say that such Petitions are a ‘much better way of getting the attention of decision-makers than riots, but especially when MPs listen. We need to keep raising the issues. We will be heard.’
