Spey Lodge, Canada
Great fishing, service and scenery combine to make this a very enjoyable wilderness trip.
Spey Lodge is run to fanatical perfection, offering customised fishing packages and comfortable accommodation in six twin guest rooms.
One major advantage of Spey Lodge is that the guides will take you to remote rivers which really show off the beauty of British Columbia and also means that you hopefully will not see another living soul.
With friendly and helpful staff on the river and in the camp the people of Spey Lodge will make sure that your stay is the best fishing holiday you will ever have.
The fishing is on the Skeena and its many oceanic tributaries of the north Pacific with excellent Pacific salmon, steelhead and trout waters in the coastal mountain valleys. As the name suggests, double handed rods are the most popular, fished with floating or sink-tip lines and wet or skated dry flies.
Accommodation
Spey Lodge offers six comfortable, twin occupancy rooms all with private bathrooms. Generally these rooms are single occupancy unless requested otherwise. There is also a large lounge, a dining room, and a number of other amenities. Although Spey Lodge has the capability to accommodate 12 anglers at a time, they usually cater to small groups, couples and single anglers.
