About Belize
Belize is a small but extraordinarily diverse country offering unparalleled opportunities to fishermen, beach-combers and divers alike.
A grand slam is not just a possibility in Belize but an ever present opportunity. Bonefish, tarpon and permit are caught every day. The permit in this region are some of the largest in the world which is often why the surprisingly productive bonefish and tarpon fishing are overlooked. A huge range of flats can be fished in any one day and it is part of Belize’s charm that you can never predict which fish will be your next target.
The Belizean barrier reef is rightly famous for its incredible diving and many of the world’s greatest dive sites are found here. All lodges in Belize welcome fishermen with open arms but perhaps it’s greatest attraction is that non-fishers often feel as if they have had the better deal.
